Anne Verougstraete MD is an obstetrician and gynaecologist. She is Chef de Clinique Adjoint in the Obstetrical ward of the University Hospital Erasme (Université Libre de Bruxelles: ULB) since 1/4/2006 and Head of the abortion centre: Sjerp – Dilemma-VUB, and family planning doctor at the Vrijë Universiteit Brussel since 1/10/84.

Trainer in family planning for medical general practitioner students of the Vrijë Universiteit Brussel (VUB) since 1984.
Trainer in family planning for general practitioners, school doctors, nurses and social workers in SENSOA (Flemish expert training centre in sexual health) since about 15 years.
Teacher in family planning at the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp (international course in reproductive health given in french and english) since 2003.
