Vice-présidente Kristina Gemzell Danielsson is professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Health at the Department of Woman and Child Health, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. She is a senior consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Karolinska University Hospital where she is also the Director for the WHO collaboration centre for Research and Research training in Human Reproduction. She is a member of the ICCR, Population council, the ESC expert group on induced abortion and member of FIGO’s working group on prevention of unsafe abortion. She is also the vice president of FIAPAC and secretary of the Swedish family planning association. Her research focus is on endometrial function, embryo implantation, induced abortion, emergency contraception and development of new contraceptive methods.
